Christine Taylor paints highlighting feminine strength and the psychological impact of societal standards. Influenced by traditional realism, Taylor renders portraits with classical qualities along with expressive color to convey emotional responses invoking progression towards self-awareness. Analyzing the inner processes that develop and destroy the constant flux of who we are and how we are perceived as women, her work creates an exploratory dialogue where women are seen in a light where strength and vulnerability share the same space, seeking harmony.

From California, Christine Taylor is a queer artist residing in the San Francisco Bay Area where she is the co-founder of Coven Art Collective, working to bring womxn artists together in unity.
